About Me

Many of us undergo difficult, painful, and traumatic events in our lives – things that are not only painful while we experience them, but that have a way of sticking to us long after the fact. When the residual impact of these events follows us around, it can create a lot of fear and discomfort, making us lose touch with who we really are. This often manifests in feeling stuck in unwanted patterns of behavior, difficult feelings, and negative beliefs about ourselves. These things can be very hard to deal with when other people don’t understand. I specialize in understanding these issues and how they affect us.

Throughout my career, I have focused on a speciality in attachment, body, and brain-based trauma healing. I am trained in EMDR, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, yoga philosophy, and somatic therapies. Working collaboratively, we will identify the things that keep you stuck and address the roots of these issues rather than just the symptoms.

Above all, I focus on the relationship that I build with each client. I personally understand the degree of strength it takes to be open and vulnerable in sharing your story and working through the hard stuff. I am honored to be able to walk that path with you. My approach is open and warm, and I aim to create a space where each client can experience growth.

Some other things that might matter to you: I strive to put my therapeutic beliefs into action in my personal life and show up authentically in my work inside and outside of my practice. My current practice focuses on work with adults (18+), and I welcome and value diversity in my practice. It is important to me that my practice is a safe space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. In my free time, I enjoy connecting with my family and friends, reading, and spending time outdoors.
